Folsom is one of the nicer places to live in California. Crime rate is very low in the city so the search for where to live in Folsom should really be dictated by the pricing and personal preference of the buyer. But here’s an overview on some of the best neighborhoods Folsom has to offer.
If you got the money then there’s one neighborhood that comes to mind when it comes to ‘the best neighborhood in Folsom’, that neighborhood being Empire Ranch. Empire Ranch is a gated neighborhood on the east side of Folsom with homes fetching anywhere between $500,000 to $900,00 and higher. To top it all off, Empire Ranch also has its own 18 Hole Golf Course and Club who also hold events such as weddings.
Moving on to The Parkway in the northeast side of Folsom, this suburban neighborhood is a bit cheaper than Empire Ranch, but still an excellent choice to live. Much more like your typical suburban neighborhood, houses in The Parkway fetch between $500,000 to a little over $800,000. One of the perks of this neighborhood is its close proximity to a number of elementary schools as well as some parks.
If you want a house a bit closer to the city then your best choice would probably be Broadstone. This neighborhood is actually broken up by restaurants and stores down in the southeast of Folsom. The pricing on the homes here are much more varied, a few homes being around the $300,000 to $500,000 range. But a couple of the homes reaching upwards to $1,000,000 with one house even reaching $2,000,000. The main draw of living here is the neighborhood’s close proximity to just about everything. Since Broadstone is broken up by a strip of shops and restaurants, anything you could want is just a short walk away if you chose to live in this neighborhood.
