"FOR CC KIDS" KICKS OFF IT'S FIRST BIRTHDAY BAG DRIVE FOR CONTRA COSTA FOSTER KIDS!
PLEASE HELP US FILL BIRTHDAY BAGS WITH PRESENTS "FOR CC KIDS"!
“It happens more often than any of us want to believe. Each year, over 3 million American children are reported as abused… physically attacked, emotionally damaged, sexually molested, or severely neglected – often by the people they have loved and trusted most”. (Excerpt from Royal Family Kids Camp website.) Most of these children have never known the comfort of an existence without violence, abuse or neglect. Many of these children do not have much joy in their lives and have never even received a birthday present.
Something as small as a birthday present can bring a smile to a foster child’s face!
Each year Royal Family Kids put on a week long summer camp where Contra Costa County Foster Kids, can enjoy activities such as swimming, hiking, crafts and many other activities in a safe and caring environment. The highlight of the week is SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY where the children receive birthday presents. Children smile with delight and joy as they receive presents from strangers they will never meet.
We are pleased to announce that our office and this year's "BIRTHDAY BAG" sponsor Richard Pagano, State Farm Agent are privileged to be able to be a part of helping Contra Costa County Foster Kids experience something most of us take for granted, receiving a birthday present. We have purchased 200 special “Birthday Bags” and ask that you pick one up from our office or the office of Richard Pagano, fill it with birthday presents and return the Birthday Bag to one of our offices. All of the filled Birthday Bags will be given to the CC Forster Kids attending this years' RFKC Camp. We desperately need your help to make this a reality for these precious children!
