
Every city has some sort of development either in planning or in process. Elk Grove, California is no different and has quite a few projects in the works. The Rick Fuller Real Estate Team has done the hard work and came up with some of Elk Groves future plans for you to read up on, so take a look!
Laguna Ridge Specific Plan
This plan is specific to 1,900 acres in the Southwestern portion of Elk Grove, California. This plan proposes 5,887 single family homes to be built as well as 1,800 multi-family units, 265 acres of commercial and office uses. There will be 165 acres of park space, 70 acres of open space, and 100 acres of schools!
East Franklin Specific Plan
The East Franklin Specific Plan is approximately 2,474 acres and is located in the South Central portion of Sacramento County. This plan allows new single family homes, homestead sites, agricultural uses, the Union Pacific railroad tracks, and high voltage power lines. There will also be parks and other open space dispersed throughout the community.
Lent Ranch Marketplace
This plan allows 295 acres to be built for regional retail, office spaces, and entertainment uses. The Lent Ranch marketplace is split up into 8 districts, District A – H. District A has a plan for building a regional mall that would be about 105 acres. Districts B, C, & D are designated for community commercial, mid-size stores, office, and community retail uses. District E, is for office use and entertainment use and includes office, theatres, restaurants, and entertainment retail. Districts F & G are to be used for Visitor Commercial uses that serve the surrounding community. Lastly, District H, which is set aside for Multi – Family Residential, they are building approximately 280 units!
