Our Kaplan course hosted by RFT costs $349 for Kaplan training and $49 ($398 total) for the RFT host fee. The investment in a host fee ensures that you have an RFT Top Agent who will provide in session answers, accountability to ensure you follow through on the licensing process, and will guide you as you have the potential to join RFT. Online learning courses without a mentor or accountability have only a 5%-15% completion rate. With an RFT mentor, your chances of a career in real estate are greatly increased.

Seven weeks. We offer four sessions per year and classes are Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm-9:00pm online.

We recommend that you are at least 18 years old and have your high school diploma or GED.

Currently we do not have a payment plan. 

Currently our courses are only available online. Most of our students are busy professionals who live throughout the Bay Area. We have found that online courses offer the convenience of learning needed for most people. However, as a Kaplan hosted by RFT student, you are welcome and encouraged to jump on our weekly team meeting calls to experience the education and professional development of our award winning real estate team.

Kaplan Real Estate Education offers the materials and you proceed through the program by yourself at your own pace. Our RFT hosted Kaplan courses provide a Top Agent Mentor who guides you through the program to answer any questions you may have, you are in the course with other motivated students, we have a dedicated course schedule, Facebook group to connect with other students, and you have the potential to join the Rick Fuller Team once you are licensed.

It can take up to a year to get your business up and running. First, you need to complete the seven week course. Next, you’ll need to pass the prerequisite tests to prepare you for the California Department of Real Estate Licensing Exam. Once you get your license, you can go through the process of hiring on with the Rick Fuller Team or the brokerage of your choice. If you choose to apply to RFT, we’ll interview you to ensure that you’re a good fit for our culture and that we fit into your goals. If you join RFT, you’ll be assigned a mentor to help you with your first five transactions to gain experience and a coach to help provide guidance and accountability to get your career off on the right foot. 

The courses are made up of recorded teachings from Kaplan and are divided into three sections: Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and Legal Aspects of Real Estate. With hard work, focus, and guidance from your RFT mentor, we’ll help you to understand the material. The prerequisite tests to finish the course are all open book and you’re RFT Mentor can share best practices and helpful study tips to pass the licensing exam.
