If you are looking for restaurants that are open at around brunch time, The Press is a must for you to check out. The Press carries organic food options with both vegan and vegetarian options as well. Besides their amazing coffee, this restaurant is known for carrying more of a hipster and laid back atmosphere and serving your food, full of flavor with it also being aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Can I just brag about this family-owned restaurant for a moment? Kyber Pass Kabob does a great job making you feel as though you are Afghanistan royalty. They are known for their welcoming, and beautifully designed/traditional Afgan atmosphere. Many locals recommend arriving hungry because they have big portions filled with some of the best flavor and Afghan food in the area.
3. Blossom Vegan Restaurant
Vegan, Vegetarian $$$$
Where are my vegans and vegetarians? Yes, there are options for us in Pleasanton! Blossom is known for its almost exact taste imitating non-vegan/vegetarian foods. This restaurant is so good, it is hard to believe the food is vegan! As soon as you walk inside, you are welcomed with a paradise, vacation-like feel as though you are on a tropical island getaway. What is there not to like?
4. Forno Vecchio
Italian, Seafood $$$$
If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant, Forno Vecchio is for you! This family-owned restaurant is known for using only the freshest and finest ingredients for their recipes. This restaurant is located off Main street in Pleasanton so you should have no problem finding quick parking. Make sure to grab an order of their cheesy breadsticks as an appetizer!
5. Wild One
Mexican $$$$
You can never go wrong with an authentic style Mexican restaurant. Griselda the owner of Wild One takes great pride in the food being served to her customers guaranteeing them a fresh, bold, and tasty meal. So many of their regular customers express how impressed they are with their unique flavoring in their foods; one guest actually asked them, “ Is licking the plate socially acceptable? For this place, I don’t care.” This statement alone won me over in having to try Wild One out myself!
