There is so much to talk about when it comes to Newark! I have never moved far from the city I live in now, but when I do travel I love looking up the things people love about the city I will be staying at. I like being able to look at a city and read about what residents have to say and finding the best places to eat that really only residents would know versus yelp. So after doing some research on Newark, I found some great things about this cute little city that I want to share with you!
Newark is a very safe city. It is actually marked as one of the safest cities to live in California. On average, the crime for Newark is 1.9 violent crimes per 1,000 people which is fairly good! This is perfect for raising your children and not having to worry about them walking to school or going to the park and playing with their friends.
Newark is in the center of so many popular cities such as San Francisco, San Jose, Berkley, and it is right next to Fremont and Union City. According to many Newark residents, there honestly is not much to do in Newark. But the City of Newark has big plans to make it a lot more fun and enjoyable to live in, in the next 20 years! The City of Newark plans to add more shopping centers, add more buildings, and things to do like sports, parks, and more curricular activities. Until then, Newark is located to so many great cities is definitely something to love about this city.
Newark is small, intimate, and relaxing! The traffic here is very light and it is kept very clean which is a huge perk for me personally. There are many great schools for your kids and some are located next to a couple of shopping centers.
